In 2003 I highlighted a useful index of folktales and
fairytales in my Stor e Telling column in the NSN's magazine. It was like
stumbling on a treasure trove when I found it. Sadly, it is no longer hosted on
the original site, but I found the information still available on the Wayback Machine.
I thought it might be useful to all of you.The Girl with the Wooden
Helmet
by H.J. Ford, 1906
I spent some time putting the information in a PDF and Word.doc file format this morning as well. If you would like a copy, email me at storybug@aol.com
Copyright Note: The index
was not my creation. It was originally listed on the Sunrise Mountain High
School Library, compiled by Mrs. Edwards, Library Media Specialist. My new
